Maria Dummermuth, a yoga instructor at Heat Yoga, will be teaching a one hour yoga class with the intention of inspiring and motivating Shero's to empower themselves through their yoga practice. As a yoga and pilates instructor it is her goal to help students find their own way to health, healing, and balance within their own bodies.
Maria volunteers teaching yoga at local schools, nursing homes, and various girls retreats. She is currently married to her husband Chad for 17 years. They have two amazing boys: Cole is 16 and Chase is 13. Their family life is centered around nature and being outdoors. They love to hunt, camp, hike, ski, ATV ride, snowmobile - basically anything outdoors - they love to do!
For fun, Maria loves to do more yoga, ha! Her own personal practice is often hard to make time for when she am teaching so much to others, but she loves to take as many classes as she can and continue to learn. This lovely woman is a student at heart! She also recently got a paddle board for Mother's Day this year and absolutely loves to get out on the water and paddle or even take her yoga practice to the water.
"At HEAT YOGA we have so many classes to choose from and amazing instructors. What drew me to start taking classes at Heat Yoga and then eventually teach, was the wide variety of styles of yoga to choose from: Vinyasa, Yin Yoga, Relaxation, Pre-natal, Prana Vinyasa Flow, Power Yoga, PiYoga, Yoga Sculpt, and Anusara are some of the styles of yoga one can experience. If you are new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner, you will love the opportunity to experience many different styles of yoga at many convenient class times." ~ Maria
When I asked how Shero's can help her grow and succeed she replied, "I think Shero's can help me succeed by pushing me to expand and grow as an instructor, taking my classes to a higher level in a workshop setting.".
